SERVICE INFORMATION

If the owner/leasee of an applied vehicle is not satisfied with the windshield washer fluid spray pattern, even though the spray pattern may be within specifications according to the service manual, the spray pattern may be adjusted to better suit the customer's preference by using the service procedure listed below.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Adjust the windshield washer nozzle spray pattern as follows:








1. Place a small piece of masking tape (one half-inch square) on the windshield at each point that the washer fluid should contact the windshield according to the new spray pattern specifications listed in Figures 1 and 2.

2. Activate the windshield washer and adjust each washer fluid nozzle (individually) until the fluid stream contacts the corresponding piece of masking tape.
