Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

Carbon Canister / Purge Valve / Fuel Filter:

1. Jack up front of vehicle and support on stands. Remove left front wheel.
2. Remove access cover in wheel well.
3. Note positions of hoses connected to canister. Remove hoses.
4. Remove canister clamp bolt, pry open clamp and remove canister.
5. Place new canister in position, close clamp and install bolt.
6. Reconnect hoses and clamps.
7. Install access cover and wheel. Lower vehicle.
