Feed Pipe to Fuel Rail

- Open the luggage compartment and displace the right-hand front side liner.
- Displace the fuel pump relay (silver relay on black/yellow base) from mounting at rear of hockey stick panel and remove the relay.
- Crank the engine to depressurize the fuel system.
- Reposition the relay.
- Open the bonnet and fit wing protection.
- Position suitable cloth to catch possible fuel residue.





- Undo the feed hose union nut from the fuel rail (Fig. 3).
- Fit blanking plugs to hose and rail.
- Release the hose from fuel rail and actuator "P" clips.
- Release the hose from the manifold retaining bracket.
- Position cloth beneath the hose to main feed pipe connector.





- Release connection (1 Fig. 1) and fit blanking plugs.
- Remove main feed pipe blanking plug.
- Remove replacement hose blanking plugs.
- Clean joint face of pipe.
- Fit and fully seat new hose to pipe.
- Ensure connector is pushed fully home and the pipe shoulder abuts the locking ring.
- Route hose to the front mounting bracket, secure with retaining clip.
- Remove fuel rail blanking plug.
- Connect hose union to rail and fully tighten.
- Reposition and secure hose to retaining "P" clips.
- Remove cloth.
- Remove wing covers and close bonnet.
