With EM012 disconnected measure the resistance between the following pairs
EM012/001 & EM012/003
EM012/002 & EM012/004

Any coil resistance < 40 ohms?

Yes
Renew EGR valve
Reconnect EM012
Go to C3

No
Go to D1
