At the J1962 connector measure the resistance between pins 6 & 14

Is the resistance approximately 60 ohms?

Yes
Good

Is the resistance approximately 120 ohms?

Yes
Bad, check for a break between INST & ABS/TCCM

Is the resistance infinity?

Yes
Bad, probable fault between J1982 & INST

Is the resistance approximately 0 (zero)?

Yes
Bad, check for short between CAN+ & CAN-
