Fuel Tank Unit: Description and Operation

Fuel Pump & Evaporative Loss Flange:

The evaporative-loss flange is mounted at the same location as the fuel pump, but on top of the fuel tank; fitted onto its sealing ring, it is held in position by the fuel tank lock ring.

Servicing of this system requires fuel tank removal.
