Evaporative Loss System





A twin carbon canister system, based on that installed on the Sedan, is introduced on all NAS vehicles. A pressure sensor is added to the evaporative loss flange in the tank and a running loss control valve replaces the tank pressure control valve. A second carbon canister, a canister close valve and a filter are added to the mounting bracket at the rear of the left front wheel. System operation is the same as on the Sedan.
