B: P0712 - 157°C (316°F) indicated TFT sensor circuit grounded

B1: CHECK THE TFT SENSOR CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the transmission vehicle harness connector, GB5.
3. Disconnect the PCM electrical connector GB1.
4. Measure the resistance between the transmission vehicle harness connector GB5 pin 2, (WR) and GROUND.
^ Is the resistance less than 0.5 Ohms?
-> Yes
REPAIR the TFT sensor circuit between the transmission vehicle harness connector GB5 pin 2, (WR) and the PCM electrical connector GB1 pin 23, (WR).
-> No
INSTALL a new PCM. CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
