Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair

Removal

CAUTION: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable vapors are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Depressurize the fuel system. Fuel Pressure Release





4. Disconnect the fuel pulse damper electrical connector.





5. Disconnect the fuel pulse damper vacuum hose.





6. Remove the fuel pulse damper.

7. To install, reverse removal procedure.
