Flywheel: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the automatic transmission.

2. NOTE: Prevent the drive from rotating by use of a small wedge in the ring gear.





Remove the drive plate.
3. Clean the crankshaft mating face and any other components which are to be refitted.

Installation





1. Install the drive plate.
Install, but do not tighten, the drive plate retaining bolts.





2. Tighten the retaining bolts in two stages and in the order shown.
STAGE ONE tighten 15 Nm





3. Tighten the retaining bolts.
STAGE TWO tighten to 110 Nm.
4. Install the automatic transmission.
