Centre Console Finisher Veneer Panel

Removal
1. Apply handbrake and turn ignition key to II.
2. Depress brake pedal, move gear selector to position N and turn ignition key to O.
3. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal.
4. Remove 'J' gate surround.







5. Slacken and remove retaining plate screws and remove retaining plates.







6. Carefully withdraw veneer panel for access and remove two washers from rear of 'J' gate.







7. On convertible model disconnect Roof switch harness multiplug and remove switch from veneer panel.







8. Remove veneer panel from console and remove oddments tray.

Installation
1. Fit and fully seat oddments tray in panel.
2. On convertible model, position veneer panel for access, connect Roof switch multiplug and fully seat switch in panel.
3. Route Sport mode and Cruise Control switches through panel aperture.







4. Position washers over 'J' gate rear screw locations and exercising care to avoid disturbing washers, fully seat veneer panel on 'J' gate.
5. Position clamp plates on veneer panel and fit and tighten securing screws.
6. Fit 'J' gate surround.
7. Move gear selector to position P.
8. Connect ground cable to battery terminal and fit battery cover.
