Front Seat Belt 76.73.21

Removal
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Position front seat fully forward.
3. Remove rear seat cushion and squab.
4. Remove coat hanger hook.







5. Remove front seat belt upper anchor plate and trim.
1. Unclip front seat belt upper anchor plastic cover for access to retaining nut.
2. Slacken and remove seat belt upper anchor retaining nut.
3. Remove seat belt upper anchor.







6. Remove front seat belt escutcheon.
1. On coupe model, slacken and remove retaining screw from front seat belt upper escutcheon and remove escutcheon from rear quarter casing.







7. Detach front seat belt lower anchor bar.
1. Slacken and remove front seat belt lower anchor bar retaining bolt.
2. Remove anchor bar from body grommet and seat belt loop.
3. Retain anchor bar spacer and card washer.
8. On coupe model release rear quarter casing fasteners and position casing for access.







9. Disconnect 'B' post occupancy sensor electrical connector.







10. Pass seat belt anchor plates through rear quarter casing apertures and remove casing from vehicle.







11. Detach the seat belt.







12. Remove the seat belt.
- Disconnect the seat belt electrical connectors.

Installation







1. Connect the seat belt electrical connectors.







2. Fit the seat belt.
- Tighten to 35 Nm.







3. Position seat belt guide on 'B' post and fit and fully tighten the two retaining bolts.
4. Position quarter casing in vehicle and pass seat belt anchor plate and tongue through aperture.
5. Connect 'B' post occupancy sensor electrical connector.
6. Fit rear quarter casing.
7. Fit coat hanger hook.
8. Fit front seat belt anchor bar.
1. Pass front seat belt anchor bar through seat belt loop and body grommet.
2. Fit retaining bolt to seat belt anchor bar.
3. Fit spacer and card washer and locate and fully tighten retaining bolt.
9. Fit front seat belt upper anchor plate.
1. Fit plastic cover to front seat belt upper anchor plate retaining stud.
2. Position upper anchor plate on retaining stud and fit and tighten retaining nut.
3. Fasten upper anchor plastic cover.
10. On coupe model:
1. Fit rear seat belt anchor plate.
2. Fit retaining bolt to rear seat belt anchor plate.
3. Fit card washer to retaining bolt.
4. Position anchor plate over bolt location and engage and fully tighten retaining bolt.
5. Position and seat rear seat belt escutcheon to casing aperture.
6. Fit coat hanger hook.
11. On convertible model, position rear quarter capping, secure to 'B' post extension with fastener and fit and tighten three retaining screws.
12. Fit rear seat squab and cushion.
13. Carry out the battery reconnection procedure.
