Disassembly



1. Remove accumulator pistons and springs from clutch housing by applying compressed air through oil passage as shown in figure.

Inspection

Accumulator Spring



1. Measure spring free length.
2. if not within specification, replace spring.

Re-Assembly

NOTICE:
Installation order
2-3 accumulator: piston - spring - stopper
1-2 accumulator: piston - spring - stopper
N-D accumulator: piston - spring - stopper
N-R accumulator: spring - piston - stopper

NOTICE: Apply even pressure to perimeter of accumulator pistons and stopper to avoid damaging O-ring and seal rings while installing.





1. Apply AFT to new seal rings and install them onto accumulator pistons.





2. Install accumulator pistons and springs.





3. Install stopper and snap ring.
