Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Turn ignition switch off and disconnect the battery (-) cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).




3. Unfasten the four mounting nuts (B) and remove the accelerator pedal from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Installation is reverse of removal.

Accelerator pedal mounting nuts : 12.8 - 15.7Nm
(1.3 - 1.6kgf-m, 9.4 - 11.6lbf-ft)
