The rear footwell carpet may not lay flat due to an excess of carpet material.
ACTION REQUIRED
In the event of a customer complaint of uneven carpet in the rear footwell, follow the procedure below.
PARTS INFORMATION
Loctite 495 adhesive
PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear footwell plastic carpet edge finishers.
2. Lift the carpet locally to the uneven area.
3. Apply Loctite 495 adhesive onto the exposed area.
4. Pull the carpet tight and refit making sure that the carpet is flat and even.
5. Trim any excess carpet as required.
6. Refit the carpet edge finishers.
