Rear seat rattle may be caused by excessive free play in the seat outer pivot pin on either of the seats. Fitment of a new bush as detailed below removes this free play.

ACTION REQUIRED

If after road test a rattle is identified in the rear seat assembly follow the procedure below.

PARTS INFORMATION

AWR3914 - Pivot pin bush.

PROCEDURE





1. Remove the rear seat pivot finisher.

2. Remove the pivot pin.

3. Move the seat squab away from the seat cushion to expose the pivot pin bush.

4. Using a lever remove the pivot pin bush.

5. Fit a new bush part number AWR 3914.

6. Line up the seat squab and cushion.

7. Re-fit pivot pin. Tighten to 21-24 lb.ft (28-32 Nm).

8. Re-fit pivot finisher.
