DETAIL

A squeak coming from the lower part of the front seats can be caused by the seat slide mechanism making contact with the seat rails. An application of a lubricant as detailed below will stop the squeak.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint or at PDI, if an audible squeak can be heard coming from the lower part of the front seat, spray the slide mechanism with a dry type Teflon based Lubricant.

PROCEDURE





Adjust the front seat to its highest position to allow access. Spray a Teflon based lubricant onto the slide mechanism as shown in the illustration.
