DETAIL

The spare wheel retaining plate may not sufficiently clamp the spare wheel, and hence a squeak/rattle may come from the rear load space area. Modification of the clamp will eliminate the squeak/rattle.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of a squeak/rattle from the spare wheel carrier, follow the procedure below.

PARTS INFORMATION

NTC7294 - Rubber pads - 4 required.

PROCEDURE





1. Open the spare wheel cover

2. Remove the spare wheel retaining plate

3. Fit 4 rubber pads as shown in the illustration

4. Re-fit retaining plate and close cover.
