Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

Air Flow Meter:

PURPOSE
The air temperature sensor measures the temperature of incoming intake (ambient) air, so the ECU can adjust injection duration.

LOCATION
The sensor is an integral part of the airflow meter.
