Fig. 22 Identifying Stabilizer Bar Links:

1. Remove steering knuckle with axle hub as outlined under Knuckle/Service and Repair.
2. On models less air suspension, remove shock absorber as outlined under Shock Absorber/Service and Repair.
3. On models with air suspension, remove pneumatic cylinder as outlined under Automatic Suspension/Suspension Actuator/Service and Repair.
4. On all models, remove right and left stabilizer bar links.
5. Remove shock absorber lower mounting bracket.
6. Disconnect strut bar nuts from lower arm.
7. Remove strut bar cushion nuts.
8. Remove strut bar with cushion.
9. Remove right and left stabilizer bar bushings.
10. Remove strut bar bracket with the stabilizer bar.
11. Reverse procedure to install, installing right and left stabilizer bar links in their proper positions, Fig.22.
