CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The No. 1 vehicle speed sensor outputs a 4-pulse signal for every revolution of the transmission output shaft.
After this signal is converted into a more precise rectangular wave form by the waveform shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then transmitted to the Engine Control Module (ECM).




DETECTING CONDITION




REFERENCE
- Waveform between terminals SPD and E1 when vehicle speed is approx. 60 km/h (37 MPH).

HINT:
- The greater the vehicle speed, the greater the number of SPD signals produced.
