Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Install Throttle Body.





- Install a new gasket to the intake air connector.
- Slide the Throttle Body onto the stud bolts on the intake air connector.





- Connect the two water bypass hoses to the Throttle Body.





- Install the Throttle Body with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque: 21 Nm (15 ft lb)






- Connect the following connectors and hoses:
Throttle Position Sensor connector (1)
Sub-Throttle Position Sensor connector (w/TRAC) (2)
Sub-Throttle Actuator connector (w/TRAC) (3)
Idle Air Control Valve connector (4)
four vacuum hoses (5)





2. Install the Throttle Body bracket with the 4 nuts.

Torque: 21 Nm (15 ft lb)





3. Install intake air connector pipe with the 2 hose clamps and connect the following hoses:
PS air hose to air connector pipe (1)
PCV hose to No. 2 cylinder head cover (2)





4. Connect the following control cables to Throttle Body.
Accelerator cable (1)
A/T throttle control cable (2)
Cruise control actuator cable (3)
5. Fill with engine coolant.
6. Connect cable to negative terminal of battery.
