REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine under cover.
2. Remove the stabilizer bar after doing these steps.
a. Disconnect the stabilizer bar from the two stabilizer bar links.

NOTE: When installing the links, tighten them to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).





b. Remove the two stabilizer bar brackets.

NOTE: When installing the brackets, tighten them to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).

3. Remove both the bushings and the brackets.

INSTALLATION HINT: Install the bushing to the outside of bushing stopper.

4. Remove both of the stabilizer bar links from both of the lower suspension arms after removing the two nuts and stabilizer bar links.

NOTE: When installing the links to the arms, tighten them to 113 Nm (83 ft. lbs.).

5. Inspect the ball joint for rotation condition, doing the following.




a. As shown, flip the ball joint stud back and forth five times, before installing the nut.
b. Using a torque wrench, turn the stud continuously one turn each 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the fifth turn. The turning torque is 0.05 - 1.5 Nm (0.4 - 13 inch lbs.).

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
