Main Bearing Cap Stud Replacement

1. Using the two main bearing cap nuts, remove the stud bolt.
2. Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under flange of new stud bolts.





3. Using the two main bearing cap nuts, install the stud bolt, tighten to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

NOTE:
- Stud bolts come in lengths of 93.5 mm (3.681 inch) and 105.0 mm (4.134 inch).
- Install the 105.0 mm (4.134 inch) bolts in the inside positions.
- Install the 93.5 mm (3.681 inch) bolts in the outside positions.
