Rocker Panel Moulding

Rocker Panel Moulding:






REMOVAL

1. w/ Mudguard:
REMOVE FRONT MUDGUARD
Remove the 3 screws and front mudguard.

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING




3. REMOVE FRONT ROCKER PANEL MOULDING
a. Remove the 5 screws and 4 clips.
b. Using a moulding remover, disengage the clips and remove the front rocker panel moulding.

4. REMOVE REAR ROCKER PANEL MOULDING
a. Remove the 2 nuts clip and No.5 rocker panel protector.




b. Remove the 2 screws, 2 hexagon screws and 3 clips.




c. Using a moulding remover, remove the rear rocker panel moulding.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR ROCKER PANEL MOULDING

a. Using a heat light, heat the body mounting surface to 40 - 60 °C (104 - 140 °F).

b. Remove the adhesive tapes from the body.

c. Wipe off stains with cleaner.

d. If reusing the moulding:
Clean the moulding.
1. Using a heat light, heat the moulding to 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F).

NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.

2. Remove the adhesive tapes from the moulding.
3. Wipe off stains with cleaner.




4. Apply new adhesive tapes to the moulding as shown in the illustration.

e. Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.

Body: 40 - 60 °C (104 - 140 °F)
Moulding: 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F)

NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.

f. Lift the moulding release sheets face of moulding.

NOTE: When the moulding release sheets is removed, make sure that no dirt or dust can get onto the uncoated area.




g. Install the rear rocker panel moulding with the 2 screws, 2 hexagon screws and 3 clips.

h. Install the No.5 rocker panel protector with the 2 nuts and clip.




2. INSTALL FRONT ROCKER PANEL MOULDING
Install the front rocker panel moulding with the 5 screws and 4 clips.

3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER MOULDING

4. w/ Mudguard:
INSTALL FRONT MUDGUARD
Install the front mudguard with the 3 screws.
