ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING

Roof Drip Side Finish Moulding:

REMOVAL

REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING




a. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 5 clips from the rear end.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the body and moulding.
- When the clips comes off, replace it with new one.




b. Slide the roof drip side finish moulding rearward to remove it.

INSTALLATION

INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING
If the roof drip side finish moulding clips come off.

a. Using a heat light, heat the body moulding clip surface to 40 - 60 °C (104 - 140 °F).

NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.

b. Remove the adhesive tape from the body.

c. Wipe off stains with cleaner.

d. Apply new adhesive tape to the body as shown in the illustration.

e. Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding clip.

Body: 40 - 60 °C (104 - 140 °F)
Moulding: 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F)

NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.

f. Lift the moulding release sheet face of the body.




g. Install the clip.




h. Mount the roof drip side finish moulding to the body panel.

i. Slide the roof drip side finish moulding forward and set it to the windshield outside moulding upper end.




j. Tap the roof drip side finish moulding clip areas by your hand to fix the roof drip side finish moulding.
