Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

1. DISCONNECT REAR DRIVE SHAFT RH
2. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSY




a. Disconnect the VSV connector.
b. Disconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
c. Disconnect the purge line hose, EVAP line hose and air inlet line hose from the charcoal canister.
d. Disconnect the vent line hose from the charcoal canister.
1. Push the connect or deep inside.
2. Pinch portion A.
3. Pull out the connector.

e. Remove the 3 bolts and charcoal canister.

3. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSY
a. Install the charcoal canister with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

b. Connect the vent line hose to the charcoal canister.
c. Connect the purge line hose, EVAP line hose and air inlet line hose to the charcoal canister.
d. Connect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
e. Connect the VSV connector.
