DISCONTINUED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL INSPECTION

On all 2004 model year LX 470 and LS 430 vehicles utilizing the A750F and A761E automatic transmission, a new Automatic Transmission Fluid (WS) will be used. The new transmission assemblies and ATF WS are produced as completely sealed units. Therefore, periodic ATF level inspections including Pre-Delivery Service Inspection (PDS) are no longer required. The automatic transmission dipstick is eliminated on these transmission assemblies. Please continue to inspect for any fluid leaks during PDS.

NOTE:
Do NOT attempt to check Automatic Transmission Fluid level in these vehicles.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2004 model year LX 470 and LS 430 vehicles.
