Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY




2. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (EVAP VSV)
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Disconnect the 2 hoses.
c. Remove the bolt and vacuum switching valve (EVAP VSV) from the intake air connector.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (EVAP VSV)
a. Install the vacuum switching valve (EVAP VSV) with the bolt.

Torque: 18 N.m (182 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

b. Connect the 2 hoses.
c. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
