Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

Cigarette Lighter:

CIGARETTE LIGHTER

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE
3. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly.




b. Disconnect the connector.




c. Turn the cigarette lighter nut in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove it.




d. Remove the cigarette lighter retainer.
e. Remove the cigarette lighter socket.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY




a. Install the cigarette lighter socket.
b. Install the cigarette lighter retainer.




c. Turn the cigarette lighter nut in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.




d. Connect the connector.
e. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly.

2. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE
3. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
