Video Terminal (For Front Side):
VIDEO TERMINAL (for Front Side)
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL
6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
7. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the 8 claws and remove the console box pocket lower.
9. REMOVE VIDEO TERMINAL
a. Detach the 4 claws and remove the video terminal.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL VIDEO TERMINAL
a. Attach the 4 claws to install the video terminal.
2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER
a. Attach the 8 claws to install the console box pocket lower.
b. Connect the connector.
3. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
4. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
5. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL
6. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
