DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE NO.3 BOX PANEL
6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
7. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
8. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
9. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
a. Remove the 2 bolts.
b. Pull the multi-display to detach the 6 clips on the backside of the multi-display.
c. Disconnect the connectors and remove the multidisplay.
10. REMOVE NO.2 RADIO BRACKET
a. Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.
11. REMOVE NO.1 RADIO BRACKET
a. Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.
INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.
1. INSTALL NO.2 RADIO BRACKET
a. Install the bracket with the 2 bolts.
2. INSTALL NO.1 RADIO BRACKET
a. Install the bracket with the 2 bolts.
3. INSTALL DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
a. Connect the connectors.
b. Insert the multi-display and attach the 6 clips on its backside.
c. Install the multi-display with the 2 bolts.
4. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
5. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
7. INSTALL NO.3 BOX PANEL
8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization. Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
