STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL
6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
7. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the 8 claws and remove the console box pocket lower.
9. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the adapter.
10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER (for Ottoman)
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the 8 claws and remove the console box pocket lower.
11. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the adapter.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
a. Attach the 2 claws to install the adapter.
2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER (for Ottoman)
a. Attach the 8 claws to install the console box pocket lower.
b. Connect the connector.
3. INSTALL STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
a. Attach the 2 claws to install the adapter.
4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER
a. Attach the 8 claws to install the console box pocket lower.
b. Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
7. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL
8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization. Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
