DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR
a. Remove the 2 protectors.

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH





a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the bumper piece.

HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Detach the claw on the inner side first.

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH





a. Remove the 2 bolts and retainer.

5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH





a. Remove the 4 bolts and bumper extension.

7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

8. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
10. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
a. Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
a. Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

3. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH





a. Install the bumper extension with the 4 bolts.

5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH





a. Install the retainer with the 2 bolts.

7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE LH





a. Attach the 2 claws to install the bumper piece.

HINT: Attach the claw on the outer side first.

9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR
a. Install the 2 new bumper protectors.
