INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR

Inner Rear View Mirror:

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/o Rain Sensor)





a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the inner rear view mirror cover as shown in the illustration.

5. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor)





a. Pull the stopper in the direction shown in the illustration.
b. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rain sensor cover.

6. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.





b. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and the inner rear view mirror.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY





a. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, install the inner rear view mirror with the screw.

Torque: 1.8 N.m (18 kgf.cm, 16 in.lbf)

b. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/o Rain Sensor)





a. Install the cover with the 2 claws.

3. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor)





a. Attach the 2 claws to install the rain sensor cover.
b. Push the stopper as shown in the illustration to fix the cover in place.

4. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTICE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
