III. Background

In recent months, Lexus has received isolated reports of a rattle or squeak noise coming from the engine compartment in certain 2007 Model Year LS 460/460 L vehicles which may be caused by one or both of the engine idler pulleys. To assure our customers that we stand behind our product, we are offering a Limited Service Campaign on the engine idler pulleys (Belt Idler Pulley No. 1 and Belt Idler Pulley No. 2).
