Air Conditioning Unit (For Rear Side)

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE AIR DUCT LH




a. Remove the 2 screws and duct.

2. REMOVE AIR DUCT RH




a. Remove the 2 screws and duct.




3. REMOVE AIR REFINER ELEMENT
4. REMOVE DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY LH




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 screws and motor.

5. REMOVE DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 screws and motor.

6. REMOVE DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY RH




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 screws and motor.

7. REMOVE MODE DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 screws and motor.

8. REMOVE SMOKE SENSOR




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the screw and sensor.

9. REMOVE AIR DUCT




a. Remove the 2 screws and duct.

10. REMOVE BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 screws and motor.

11. REMOVE DRAIN HOSE




12. REMOVE WIRING AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS
13. REMOVE TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the packing and butyl tape.




b. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts.
c. Remove the 3 screws and plate.
d. Remove the tube and accessory and 2 O-rings.
e. Remove the cooler expansion valve and 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator.

14. REMOVE EVAPORATOR ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 6 screws and 2 brackets.




b. Remove the 3 clips.
c. Detach the 2 claws and remove the air duct.




d. Remove the 10 screws and rear cooling unit case (lower).




e. Remove the evaporator.

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL EVAPORATOR ASSEMBLY




a. Install the evaporator.




b. Install the rear cooling unit case (lower) with the 10 screws.




c. Attach the 2 claws, and install the air duct with the 3 clips.




d. Install the 2 brackets with the 6 screws.

2. INSTALL TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY




a. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 4 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the hose joint.

Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

b. Install the 2 O-rings to the cooler evaporator.
c. Install the 2 O-rings to the tube and accessory.
d. Install the cooler expansion valve and tube and accessory to the evaporator.
e. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, install the 2 hexagon bolts.

Torque: 3.5 N.m (35 kgf.cm, 30 in.lbf)

f. Install the plate with the 3 screws.




g. Install the new packing and butyl tape.

3. INSTALL WIRING AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS




a. Install the harness, as shown in the illustration.

4. INSTALL DRAIN HOSE




a. Install the drain hose, as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR




a. Install the motor with the 3 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

6. INSTALL AIR DUCT




a. Install the duct with the 2 screws.

7. INSTALL SMOKE SENSOR




a. Install the sensor with the screw.
b. Connect the connector.

8. INSTALL MODE DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY




a. Install the motor with the 3 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

9. INSTALL DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY RH




a. Install the motor with the 2 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

10. INSTALL DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY




a. Install the motor with the 3 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

11. INSTALL DAMPER SERVO ASSEMBLY LH




a. Install the motor with the 2 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

12. INSTALL AIR REFINER ELEMENT




a. Install the element, as shown in the illustration.

13. INSTALL AIR DUCT LH




a. Install the duct with the 2 screws.

14. INSTALL AIR DUCT RH




a. Install the duct with the 2 screws.
