CIGARETTE LIGHTER (for Front Side)

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
5. REMOVE NO.3 BOX PANEL
6. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
8. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER




9. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element.
b. Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.




c. Rotate the ring nut in the direction indicated by the arrow, and remove the ring nut from the console panel.




d. Remove the cigarette retainer from the console panel.




e. Remove the cigarette lighter from the console panel.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the cigarette lighter socket to the console panel.




b. Install the cigarette retainer to the console panel.




c. Rotate the ring nut in the direction indicated by the arrow and install the ring nut to the console panel.




d. Connect the connector and attach the clamp.
e. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element to the console panel.

2. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
4. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL NO.3 BOX PANEL
6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
9. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
