Cigarette Lighter (for Rear Side):




CIGARETTE LIGHTER (for Rear Side)

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY




4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX PLATE
a. Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the 6 claws and remove the console box plate from the rear console end panel.




5. REMOVE REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER
a. Remove the cigarette lighter cover.

6. REMOVE REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element.




b. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the socket cover from the console box plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

7. REMOVE REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER BEZEL STAY
a. Remove the cigarette lighter bezel stay.




8. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER HOLE BEZEL
a. Detach the 2 claws and cigarette lighter hole bezel from the cigarette lighter hole bezel stay.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER HOLE BEZEL
a. Attach the 2 claws to install the cigarette lighter hole bezel.

2. INSTALL REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER BEZEL STAY
a. Install the cigarette lighter bezel stay.




3. INSTALL REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY
a. Attach the claw to install the cigarette lighter socket cover.
b. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element.

c. When replacing cigarette lighter assembly:







1. Install a new wire harness clamp as shown in the illustration.




2. Clamp the cord securely.

HINT: After clamping the cord, cut off any extra cord so that there is only 1 to 3 mm (0.04 to 0.12 in.) protruding.




4. INSTALL REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER
a. Install the cigarette lighter cover.




5. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX PLATE
a. Attach the 6 claws of the console box plate to the rear console end panel.
b. Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
8. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
