Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

High Mounted Stop Light Assembly:

HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL




1. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER
a. While pressing the cover, slide it toward the outer side of the vehicle.
b. Detach the 4 claws.
c. Remove the center stop light cover as shown in the illustration.




2. REMOVE NO.2 CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER
a. While pressing the cover, slide it toward the outer side of the vehicle.
b. Detach the 4 claws.
c. Remove the NO.2 center stop light cover as shown in the illustration.

3. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT CLIP
a. Turn the 2 center stop light clips 90° and remove them.




4. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the harness and connector.




b. Remove the 2 screws.
c. Detach the 2 claws and remove the center stop light.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Attach the 2 claws.
b. Install the center stop light with the 2 screws.




c. Connect the harness and connector.

2. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT CLIP
a. Turn the 2 center stop light clips 90° and install them.

3. INSTALL NO.2 CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER
a. Install the NO.2 center stop light cover.

4. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER
a. Install the center stop light cover.
