INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Inspect the turning of the upper ball joint.
(1) Install the installation nut to the ball joint stud.
(2) Move the stud back and forth 5 times. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn and take the torque reading on the fifth turn.
Standard turning torque: 3.5 N*m (36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf) or less
If the value is not within the specified range, replace the front suspension upper arm with a new one.
(b) Check the dust boots for cracks or grease leakage.

2. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH
