Introduction
2007 model year LS 460 vehicles equipped with Navigation Systems are also equipped with factory installed XM Satellite Radio Audio and XM NavTraffic Services, including 90 days free customer trial for each. As part of the PDS process, ensure that the XM Satellite Radio Audio and XM NavTraffic Services are activated and ready for use.

Confirmation Procedure
1. With the vehicle in clear line of sight to the sky, power ON the radio. (The vehicle does NOT have to be running, but the radio must be powered ON.)
2. Press the "AM/SAT" button to switch the band to "SAT1".
Are XM channels 7, 9,152, and 175 displayed and audible?
3. Press "MAP" to bring up the navigation map screen. Ensure that the map screen is zoomed in to AT LEAST the 8mi scale.
Is the XM logo visible on the left hand side of the screen? (XM logo color is not important.)
Activation Procedure
1. With the vehicle in clear line of sight to the sky, power ON the radio (The vehicle does NOT have to be running, but the radio must be powered ON).
2. Press the AM/SAT" button to switch the band to "SAT1" and turn to channel ~ (zero)".
3. Write down the 8-digit radio ID.
NOTE:
Please check the radio ID code carefully. The letters "I", "o", "S", or "F" are NOT used in the radio ID.
4. Log on to the website and follow the activation instructions OR call and follow the voice activated prompts for dealer demo activation.
The activation signal is sent to the vehicle immediately and will continue to be sent for up to 2 hours. The vehicle may need to remain ON for up to 30 minutes to receive the XM activation signal.
5. After 30 minutes, return to the Confirmation Procedure" in this TSIB to ensure activation is complete and repeat steps 1 - 4 above, if necessary.
