AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL COOLER DRYER






(a) Using pliers, install the cooler dryer to the modulator.






(b) Apply sufficient compressor oil to an O-ring and cap fitting surface.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent






(c) Using a straight hexagon wrench 14 mm, install the cap to the cooler condenser core.
Torque: 2.9 Nm (30 kgf-cm, 26 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the cooler condenser assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
HINT: If the condenser is replaced with a new one, add compressor oil to the new condenser.

Capacity:
40 cc (1.4 fl. oz.)
Compressor oil:
ND-8 or equivalent
3. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE






(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the tube and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the tube joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on the liquid tube sub-assembly.
(d) Install the liquid tube sub-assembly on the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER Installation

6. CONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER OUTLET TUBE Installation

7. CONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET TUBE Installation

8. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET Installation

9. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET Installation

10. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE Installation

11. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Reassembly

13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

15. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

16. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

17. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Testing and Inspection

18. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS Testing and Inspection

19. CHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

20. WARM UP COMPRESSOR Service and Repair

21. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT LEAKS Service and Repair

22. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

23. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

24. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

25. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

26. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
27. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
28. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
