LIGHTING: HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the stop light from the package tray trim center bracket.

(b) Disconnect the connector.

3. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the sensor from the high mounted stop lamp base.
