Installation

BRAKE CONTROL: REAR SPEED SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH SKID CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with skid control sensor Installation.

HINT
* The skid control sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the skid control sensor needs to be replaced, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
* If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

2. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS Rear Axle Hub

3. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB RUNOUT Rear Axle Hub

4. INSTALL REAR DISC Reassembly

5. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY Installation

6. CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

(a) Connect the connector to the skid control sensor.





NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the speed sensor.

7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

9. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Refer to the procedure from Inspect and Adjust Rear Wheel Alignment Rear Wheel Alignment.

10. CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL

Check speed sensor signal Test Mode Procedure.
