Installation

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE LEVER (for Manual Transmission): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly through the floor hole and tighten the 2 bolts.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Install the parking brake lever sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 39 Nm (400 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the parking brake switch connector.

2. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE EQUALIZER

(a) Install the parking brake equalizer to the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly in the order as shown in the illustration.

(b) Slide the rubber boot back as shown in the illustration.

(c) Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake equalizer.

(d) Install the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE RETURN WITH DAMPER SPRING

(a) Using needle-nose pliers, install the parking brake return with damper spring.

4. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FLOOR REAR SUB PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front upper floor rear sub panel sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 18 Nm (178 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the 6 clamps.

5. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY

(a) Refer to the instructions for Installation of the propeller shaft with center bearing assembly Installation.

6. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY WITH REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
