Installation

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE SWITCH (for Automatic Transmission): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake switch assembly to the parking brake control pedal assembly with the screw.





Torque : 0.9 Nm (9 kgf-cm, 8 in-lbf)

(b) Install the tension spring to the parking brake control pedal assembly.

2. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake control pedal assembly and temporarily tighten the 3 nuts.





(b) Fully tighten the 3 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the parking brake switch connector.

(d) Install the parking brake control pedal assembly to the body with the 3 nuts.





Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

(e) Install the instrument panel junction block assembly with the 2 nuts.

5. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD LH

6. INSTALL NO. 3 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST LH Installation

9. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

13. INSPECT BRAKE WARNING LIGHT Adjustments
