Installation

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE PEDAL (for Automatic Transmission): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake control pedal assembly to the body, and temporarily tighten the 3 nuts.





(b) Fully tighten the 3 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the parking brake switch connector.

(d) Install the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the body with the 3 nuts and 2 bolts.





Nut - Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

Bolt - Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(e) Install the instrument panel junction block assembly with the 2 nuts.

3. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE RETURN WITH DAMPER SPRING Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FLOOR REAR SUB PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT

7. INSTALL REAR AIR DUCT GUIDE LH

8. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD LH

9. INSTALL NO. 3 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD

(a) Install the No. 3 dash panel insulator pad with the clip.

10. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

(a) Return the front floor carpet assembly to install it.

11. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST LH Installation

12. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

13. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
