DOOR / HATCH: FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply battery voltage to the motor terminals and check that the motor operates and the shaft moves in the open direction.





OK:





(b) Measure the shaft stroke.

Standard:

9.9 mm (0.390 in.) or more

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener motor assembly.
