CYLINDER HEAD GASKET SET:

DESCRIPTION

It was found that the part number of the cylinder head gasket set of the MA engine has been introduc-

ed incorrectly in the captioned program letter to the dealer. The applicable portions of the letter shall

be corrected as follows:

^ Cylinder Head Gasket: 0453 10 271D (carbon type) or
^ Cylinder Head Gasket Set:
NOTE:

1. Applicable VIN range:
a) Short Bed: PE2M6 500001 501112
b) Long Bed: PE2M7 500001 501287

2. Applicable VIN range:
a) Short Bed: from PE2M6 501113

b) Long Bed: from PE2M7 501288


3. The part number "0453 10 271D" is the cylinder head gasket, not the cylinder head gasket set. The cylinder head gasket set has not been established.

4. The set listed above includes the carbon type cylinder head gasket.

When submitting the warranty claim, please put one of the part numbers listed above in item 1 which has been used for the repair as the pan number of main cause.
